S1 - Pouring The Ground Floor Slab |

We've started pouring the slab for the ground floor in Sydney today. Having completed the lower ground level less than 10 days ago,the formwork and reinforcement is now complete and the 1st part of the pour is well underway at the Western end of the property.
The above photo was taken at 9am this morning. As you can see from the below photo which was taken just after mid-day, we're working quickly to complete this area of the pour today. It can be a long day but at the end of it, the finished pour should be pretty impressive.
Due to the 14.4KPA floor loading required for the data halls and rooftop plant room, we need much stronger support beams and structural reinforcement than a conventional building. That's why the formwork in this bottom photo looks more intricate than it may normally look in a conventional building.
